New Drinking Fountain for Royal Parks London

A new drinking fountain design has been proposed for Royal Parks of London. The design incorporates existing materials of the Parks varied sculptures and monuments into design of a new fountain. Affect_t Sponsors Medical Aid Film

Affect_t will sponsor the production of a new neonatal resucitation film with Medical Aid Films. A charitable organisation based in London whose aim is to provide instructional videos and information for doctors, health workers, and individuals in developing countries. Unique in their efforts, Medical Aid does not supply direct financial or food aid but instead advocates instructional information so that individuals can practice independently and spread knowledge in their own countries.

Hong Kong Residence

Affect_t to design interior of 240 sqm residence in high-rise flat. The interior is to be a modern intervention in older Hong Kong hi-rise located in the upmarket area of Happy Valley.

Architectural competition to design a new temporary structure in Aldgate. Affect_t participated with a design proposal for interactive tower. Design incorporates real-time information from Olympic and city monitoring into display of architectural object and spontaneous effect.
DRL Final Reviews

Dylan Baker-Rice is to act as a juror for Architectural Associations mid-term reviews at the DRL. Students from Alisa Andrasek, Marta Malé-Alemany, Yusuke Obuchi, and Theo Spyropoulos design studio's to present work on experimentation in production and process.

A new stool designed in conjunction with Melbourne Restaurant. The stool is constructed using CAD technologies to machine cut and mold stool. Lightweight, robust and versatile the stools incorporate fibreglass and steel in an exploration of line and symmetry.

Completed renovation of warehouse space in London's Shoreditch. The complete renovation of a four storey Victorian warehouse lasted a year and half and features many custom designed elements including a new roof terrace in collaboration with Sarah Jane Rosthwell of Glorious Gardens. The space is soon to be featured in a local magazine.
Dylan Baker-Rice will participate in a panel discussion at the opening of Peter Macapia's new show at nous gallery. The discussion will center around Peter's new work entitledShip of Theseuswith particular emphasis paid to the role of authorship of the architect and how the end-user can participate in the design and creation of space. Component wall system completed by AFFECT_T as limited edition sculpture. The sculpture was designed with advanced computer manufacturing techniques to allow for a totally unique object every time the a piece is assembled.
